Sometimes I wonder if I was born in the right century or place. Obviously this question isn't taken seriously, but I have this thing with ancient warfare and where life's problems were of serious matters. Where life wasn't all about being ahead of the game and speed. Now everything comes at the touch of a button. What happened to the day where it took forever to make something of quality and value that could last a lifetime. Like, a Samurai's sword. What happened to the day where the enemy leaders met in the middle and showed respect before battle? When battle wasn't about killing the enemy from a safe distance. There is something about this history that enthralls me. I can't quite grasp what it is.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that problems back then aren't problems now, but for a fact the world is spiraling downhill in sin.
Do people have respect for the past? Do people study the true "noble" ways of the old? Where people lived for valour and honor and had respect for each other. Where life is considered honorable to serve.
So many of us today, especially men are so passive. We do not take a stand for what is right either because we are selfish or afraid. We don't want to make commitments. It's in us to be the hero, to be the leader.
There are men out there who pursue Godliness. A man following and depending on God is a man with some characteristics of God. God is a hero, a savior. He is just and justifies. He's an encourager, a protector, a comforter.
If anyone reads this, know who you are in God. Seek His will. Follow His will. Then you will live a life that is better than imaginable.
